Located on the first floor and the largest of our Main House guest rooms, the Foster Room provides an economical option for one to five retreatants. With monastic like simplicity, the room provides comfortable beds, side-tables, lamps, a generous closet, and full bathroom. Its high ceilings and large windows allow ample amounts of natural light, providing an airy and calming experience.
Use of the room allows access to the many house common areas: dining & living rooms, sunroom, kitchen, laundry room and two outdoor patios.
Additionally, the Grounds provide each retreatant invitations toward prayer, slowness, reflection and solitude. Trails, benches, gardens, along with the prayer labyrinth, indoor & outdoor chapels, and dock are available for all guests.
• A Grand Silence is observed 9pm - 8am. Please refrain from talking during this time.
• Main House rooms are reserved for guests 16 years or older.
